Job Description

1. Work in various areas of production:

· Cutting, Assembly, Final Line or Press Bend

2. Tasks include:

· Cutting/ trimming, packing, assembling, running CNC machines, running print lines

3. Always work with quality and safety in mind

FULL TIME JOBS

1. Physically able to perform the work:

· Standing for extended periods of time (12 hr shifts)

· Lifting windshields up to 80lbs (with lift assist)

· Manual hand dexterity

2. Starting rate of $17.00/ hour.

3. Once you have successfully worked 480 hours, you will become a permanent Pilkington employee. As such you will be entitled to:

· Pay increase to $17.25/ hour

· Raises set in accordance with the collective agreement

· Health and Dental Benefits

Job Requirements

1. Physically able to perform the work:

2. Ability to work with computers, ability to learn/reset/ work with HMI screens

3. Must have CSA approved safety shoes or boots with metatarsal cover

4. Must wear company provided safety gear such as safety glasses, vest, gloves, cuffs and aprons

5. Must have good attendance

The Collingwood plant runs 24/7. These positions require the ability to work a rotating continental shift.

· 12 hour shifts, rotation of 2 weeks days, 2 weeks midnights

· Day shift hours 7:30am – 7:30pm

· Midnight shift hours 7:30pm – 7:30am

· One week consists of 3 days of work and the other week consists of 4 days of work
